Another book in the series by authors Bodie and Ethell that presents some truly marvelous colour photographs of WWII aircraft, airmen and airwomen, and facilities. The material has been collected from several sources; some are photo sets done by 'official' photographers, while others are from personal collections. What makes the presentation so stunning is that the negatives have been very carefully handled, and the paper in the book is of high quality. The result is high-clarity, detailed images that suffer not at all from colour running or focus issues.
