NS Frauen-Warte was the "only official National Socialist women's magazine", a biweekly Nazi publication measuring 9-1/2 x 12-1/4 inches published by the Nationalsozialistische-Frauenschaft (National Socialist Women's League). These magazines are well-known and collected in part for their colorful Nazi themed covers and each contains stories and photos about subjects especially interesting for women such as healthy Aryan families, men in the service, tips on raising your children, large fold-out sewing patterns for women's and children's clothes, the home front, the latest news from the NS-Frauenschaft and Reichsfrauenführerin or State Women Leader Gertrud Scholtz-Klink, fashion, the latest kitchen equipment, recipes, wonderful period advertising and Harlequin novel-type short stories.
