No company has exerted a greater influence on the G.I. Joe mythos than Marvel Comics. Spearheaded by writer Larry Hama, the Marvel issues created the personalities and conflicts that have defined G.I. Joe in the ensuing decades. Without Marvel, there would be no Cobra!
