HMAS Sydney: Loss and Controversy (1993, 1998) By Tom Frame

Australia's Greatest Naval Tragedy. Why were the HMAS Sydney and her crew lost without a trace?

Although more than 300 German sailors were recovered from the water or captured when they landed on the WA coast, none of the 645 men about Sydney survived.
