Fallschirmjager der Waffen-SS (2007) By Kunzmann-Millius
This is a very good photo book on the Waffen SS paras. There was initially Battalion 500 and then its successor Battalion 600. They were a unique group of men who were tasked with some very difficult missions. They were missions that would be described by most as suicide missions. These men volunteered knowing this and despite knowing that the war was already lost at this stage. For example they were tasked with defending the bridgeheads at the Odor defending against the massive Red Soviet army. They actually repelled over a dozen Soviet attempts at one bridghead before being overwhelmed by vastly superior numbers. Very few of them actually survived the war.
