Die Deutsche Wehrmacht German Cigarette Card Album (1936)
Original Third Reich-era cigarette card album, ‘Die Deutsche Wehrmacht' (‘The German Wehrmacht'), [Dresden: Cigaretten-Bilderdienst], 1936.
The cover bears a silvered depiction of Wehrmacht soldiers loading a flak gun, with two interesting pages about the uniforms and insignia of the German army. Loss of the right corners of the cover and some foxing throughout. These 'cigarette books' would be purchased by smokers and then filled with photographs obtained when certain quantities of smokes were bought.
An amazing piece of collectible history from a German Military Perspective.
Please note that some of the cards are missing, and there is some damage on some cards in the book.
