Jake "Cowboy" Conway came all the way from America to join the R.A.F. He had one burning ambition - to be a fighter pilot.
 
But he didn't make the grade so he tried his hand at being a rear gunner. To his surprise he turned out to be a natural. Once in his turret there was no stopping him as plane after plane went down before the deadly chatter of his machine guns.
 
And something else. . . he could sink ships too!
