The Author, Angolia, defines and illustrates the various uniforms (ceremonial and service) and their appropriate headwear, along with the collar tabs, shoulder boards, armbands, brassards, sleeve insignia, cuff titles, lanyards, musician swallow's nests, and other items created. He also discusses the various patterns and the dates they were established. Not only does Angolia detail each item, but through the use of period photographs, he shows many of the items worn by members of each organisation.
