"Air Raid Precautions Handbook #2, First Aid and Nursing for Gas Casualties" was a publication issued in 1940 by the British Home Office during World War II. It provided guidance on how to administer first aid and nursing care to individuals affected by gas attacks during air raids. The handbook was part of a series of Air Raid Precautions (ARP) publications designed to prepare the public for wartime emergencies. 
 
Third Edition, with photographs, illustrations and diagrams in the text; original buff wrappers printed in black, wire-stitched as issued, a near fine copy. With front endpaper advertisement. Second in a series of fourteen ARP Handbooks published by the Home Office (ARP Department) at the outbreak of WWII and covering many aspects of air raid precautions. Despite the number issued, surprisingly few appear to have survived in this condition.
