Considered the most advanced version of the F-15 fighter jet, the F-15EX had its first flight over the skies of St. Louis, Missouri.
The first drive is always a milestone that owners remember with their cars. But for an aerospace defense company such as Boeing, it's the first flight of a project aircraft. Just imagine how glad Boeing was recently when its F-15EX fighter jet completed its first flight. After all, this would bring the military supplier on early schedule to deliver the first two F-15EXs to the United States Air Force later this quarter.
Considered the most advanced version of the F-15 fighter jet, the F-15EX had its first flight over the skies of St. Louis, Missouri. It took off from St. Louis Lambert International Airport and proceeded to do a number of maneuvers in the air. After 90 minutes of test flights, the F-15EX returned to the airport.
